Birge & Fuller, Bristol, Conn., 8 days, time and strike, weight strap brass movement triple decker shelf clock with faux tortoise shell and gilt columns and gilt eagle splat, c1845
CONDITION:
Mahogany veneered case with old finish and small veneer loss on the base. Eagle splat has been repaired and regilded. Original painted dial has some minor paint loss and wear. Original gilt and grained columns with some wear under a dark finish. Hands are original. Both tablets are original with the bottom tablet broken in the lower right corner. This clock may possibly have had turned feet originally. Ht 35"
